SFM’s founder, Sheridan Mangal, has been involved in the financial markets for over thirty years, including six years in alternative investment technology. Sheridan set-up SFM in 2009 to help finance and related technology businesses achieve their business education goals via a range of specialist courses and consultancy services.

Our approach to business education is driven by three beliefs:

1. Training for staff and clients is critical to good business
Training increases the capabilities of your business and empowers your customers so they can realise the full value of their investment in your product or service. Poor training for either quickly translates into underperformance and a diminished reputation within your target market.

2. Training must be fit for purpose
More than ever, training needs to perform its role in a time-focused and cost-efficient manner. Our structured and intuitive courses are available in a range of formats and can be tailored to meet specific needs. Course content is designed to match real world practice so that the value to the student is immediate. 

3. Shared knowledge creates opportunity
As well as improving the performance of our clients, SFM is involved with a number of community organisations and charitable ventures (including the SFM Foundation). Through SFM Bridge, we teach young people about business and finance, increasing their life-chances and widening access to new opportunities.
