Serving our clients and the wider community.
Enabling opportunity and development is a central principle at SFM Capital - one which we apply to our
corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
SFM Capital is proud to support the work of various charities and individuals seeking to address unfairness and
discrimination, and promote talent amongst the neglected and disaffected.
We currently sponsor several key initiatives focused on vulnerable youngsters who need aspirational guidance
to steer them away from negative lifestyles. We also regularly contribute to our favourite children's charities
through donation, sponsorship and participation in fundraising events.
Examples of our CSR activities:
InspiredToAspire (IToA)

IToA is a full day, mid-summer event addressing the challenges our teens and young adults are facing each day.
The initiative turns the attention onto those that are often bypassed, overlooked and regularly scorned by society.
Focusing on self-belief, revealing talent and nuturing a motivation for enterpise, IToA will consist of talks by
reachable role models, youth performances (poetry, short drama, song, etc) and Q&A interactions. Subsequent
events under the IToA heading will follow, notably a networking event bringing young aspiring adults together
with established business practitioners.

"Choices: A Talent for the City"
This is one of several sponsorship initiatives we have designed and started with support from the charities
below. This course seeks to raise awareness about the City and instil positive attitudes and apsirations within
our community's teens and young adults.
Kids Company
The Windsor Fellowship
The From Boyhood to Manhood Foundation
The course has been run several times for the above and has proved beneficial in opening up this category of
career choice to those previously harbouring negative perceptions about the City or for those wishing to simply
broaden their knowledge of financial markets.
"ACS Kings & Queens" Fashion Event

27th June '09 : Hackney, London
SFM Capital is proud to be the main sponsor of this event which celebrates youth business enterprise and
creativity and which is in support of the Afro-Caribbean Leukemia Trust (ACLT).
The event brings together several UK universities and the Afro-Caribbean Society in an initiative that promotes
positive ambitions, healthy competition and citizenship. The event centres on the crowning of a fashion King
and Queen from the winning entrants put forward by each university.
With much media attention, the ACS Kings & Queens event is proving popular due in large part to its wide ranging
appeal, spanning boundaries such as background, culture and age.
City Surgery
SFM Capital is pleased to continue this initiative. Primarily targetted at schools and colleges, but of equal benefit
to businesses, SFM Capital will spend time at your place of work in order to discuss and provide guidance regarding
a City career, a change of role or simply to thrash out ideas and opinions. This is usually conducted via a Q&A,
one-on-one format.
